We would like to have an online conference format instead of a webinar format, in the hope that it will be a meeting where you can talk with everyone without any hassle.
Members who actually took the test in 2021 will attend the event and will answer any questions as much as possible.

The 1st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Lifestyle Medicine, which was held on Saturday, November 13th and Sunday, November 14th, 2021, was held successfully thanks to all participants’ cooperation and support.

Thank you for your extensive presentations and discussions that will lead to the future development of Japanese lifestyle medicine.

We are pleased to announce that the content excluding some lectures will be distributed on-demand for those who could not attend the meeting.

Note 1: If you have less than 5 days before the test date, you can cancel the test or change the test date for only one of the following four reasons.

If any of the above occur, you must submit an official certification document to IQT before changing your exam date. Note 2: The CME required to qualify for the exam is valid for 36 months. Please plan to take the exam within the expiration date.

It is a pleasure to announce that the Japanese Society of Lifestyle Medicine (JSLM) will hold its first academic meeting – “Lifestyle Will Change the Present. The Present Will Change Our Life – Lifestyle Medicine: from the world’s view and Japanese view” through an online platform on 13^th-14^th November 2021. (Flyer in English)

The meeting will host important Japanese and international speakers, presenting topics related to their professional experience and evidence-based lifestyle medicine.

JSLM was founded in 2017 by passionate members of the Lifestyle Medicine Global Alliance and American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Today JSLM consists of about 25 members, organizes a monthly journal club to read a variety of journal articles, and this year published a book in translation, “Turbo Metabolism.” From early in Japanese history, the Japanese government endeavored to prevent noncommunicable diseases and promote citizens’ longevity.

As the country become a super-aging society, Japan becomes from focus on preventive medicine to promote healthy long life. JSLM will hold its first annual academic scientific meeting from Saturday, November 13th to Sunday, November 14th, 2021 (Initially, it was planned to be held locally in Wakayama Prefecture; however, we have decided to change to a completely virtual live and on-demand event due to the current status of the coronavirus pandemic). If you are interested in lifestyle medicine as it evolves globally, especially if you are a medical professional, please attend this meeting.

The environment for studying and gaining certification in lifestyle medicine in Japan is now fully set up. This year, it will be possible to take the Lifestyle Medicine Board Certification certification exam in Japanese at the nearest Prometric test center in Japan (you can also take the exam in other languages) . Participants are able to obtain the CME in person to take this year’s certification exam in Japan if they attend this online meeting.
